A brief trip to Settle, North Yorkshire.

After some rushed packing off we went to the train station, first from Sheffield to Leeds and then a little wait at the station (just had time for a G&T) before hopping on the next train to Settle.

Settle looked wonderful in the evening sun, after the slightly cramped train journey it was nice to be out in the fresh air.
We were staying in Cat's (parent's) static caravan.  It was like a house...in a caravan.  Excellent.

After a delicious dinner we headed down to a local pub...
Unfortunately it wasn't long before last orders, the next thing we knew we were being ushered out of the building, we didn't even have time to finish our drinks.  They were very strict indeed,
Settle on a Sunday morning: Beautiful.  Isn't it fantastic visiting these places that you knew nothing about, there is a lot to be seen.

Look what they did...Settle Down...we're in Settle...Settle Down Cafe.  Genius.

We had a look around the village...there was an amazing sweet shop, like the one I dreamed I would one day own...
All too soon it was time to head back to the train station.
We were lucky to get such lovely weather!

Bye Settle...Thanks for having us...
