Sheffield Doc/Fest 2010 was amazing.
Sheffield was bursting with delegates as well as a few hundred keen volunteers, red-bulled up to the eyeballs :)
Joan Rivers was at the festival for the UK première of Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work. She also hung around to do extended Q&A sessions and masterclasses...I heard she was utterly brilliant. A legendary woman indeed.
To top it all off on Sunday afternoon Rolf Harris and his missus were in Sheffield for a work in progress showing of Arena; Rolf Harris Paints his Dream. A documentary all about Rolf/his career/his splendid wife/his bizarre looking cat/his appearance at Glastonbury this year...Awesome.

Doc/fest was a real eye-opener. To list all the great docs that were shown during the festival would be very hard, a Lego-brain can only handle so much ...but if you check out the website there are lots of details about the films that were shown during the 5 day festival...
To finish with, check this out
A project that sounds bloody marvellous to me...
