Hello! Enjoy a little foray in to the life & times of Lego Lucy

Saturday 27 February 2010

Going to the ZOOooo...Well, Whirlow Farmyard, like a zoo whot...

Well a lovely morning was had (in the freezing cold) at Whirlow Farm...
We saw lots of lovely little lambs and piglets, aww.

These guys seemed rather thirsty, poor moma pig, must be tiring that, eh?!

And they all lived happily ever after...

The End.

Hitting Sheffield town, and Then...a couple of days in Bristol recording.

Cocktails in town...Very nice.

We ended up clubbin, well...all those loud songs and flashing lights, wild.  Seems I am getting too old for all that excitement,

Thought of the day

Whilst perusing Sheffield's Now Then magazine this afternoon...

I came across an article...

Good stuff.
I reckon the apples won.
And that is today's news from Lego Lucy.

Brief summary of the weekend's happenings...

Well friday evening was nice.  Went for a meal with Al and Si...popped to our local, had a couple of glasses of Cider and a delicious meal.

I think Al was pretty tired after her busy week...

Then on Saturday morning I went for a drive around with Si, it was really freezing even though the sun was shining, tis a lovely time of year as long as you are wrapped up warm...well, I just wore what I always wear.

In the evening I went to a huge party in Barnsley, I could not believe the quantity of delicious food and drink at this joyous occasion...look at all that pork pie!Oooof.Yes.

Very Blue blue drinks...I daren't think what awful chemicals were in this beverage to make it so very blue.  Still drank it though...

Later on we got to hear some awesome folk played by Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts...they are amazing! Have a little look/listen for yourself here

Unfortunately after the party on Saturday, Sunday was a bit of a write off ...painful train journey home, followed by painful bus journey...  Followed by painful walk, until I reached a bed.  Let's not mention that day any more.
